My name is Lisa-Ann Gillings. I was born on January 26, 1967, in Kingston, Jamaica. I attended the University of the West Indies, and I then moved to the United States on December 18, 1980. Here I lived with my mother for the first time in my life, along with my sister in Brooklyn, NY. I am the mother of 6 marvelous kids and grandmother to 4. I am also an author of four published books: Light at the End of the Tunnel, Light Beyond the Horizon, Spookville, and Memoir of An Island Girl. I appreciate spending my free time enjoying nature, spending time with my loved ones, helping those in need, and cooking!
