My name is Lisa-Ann Gillings. I was born on January 26, 1967, in Jamaica. I attended the University of the West Indies in Kingston. I then moved to the United States on December 18, 1980, where I lived with my mother for the first time in my life, along with my sister in Brooklyn, NY. I am the author of four published books: Light at the end of the Tunnel, Light Beyond the Horizon, Spookville and Memoir of an Island Girl. I am also a mother to six marvelous kids and grandmother to four.
